Village has 400 years tradition of production of stringed instruments. Luba was in middle ages t the biggest field of mercury.
History of the town
The first settlement is dated about year 1100 – 1140. This county was part of boarder between Germany and Czech side in this time. Schonbach was promote to town at the year 1319. Luby was at the year 1890 the second biggest town of Chebsko – Luby had 3 639 persons. New music school was built here in year 1911.
Present Luby
Luby was changed a lot after year 1989. Small companies (production of stringed instruments) were established.
